Brain hurt and glue dots.

The symptoms of brain hurt are similar to those of brain freeze.  Gnawing knife like pain right between the eyes.  Brain hurt creeps up on me when I'm into something way beyond my basic level of comprehension.  This week I have prepared in-depth sales reports for the executive group - if they only knew that I've never balanced my chequing account successfully.  I've learned what EBITA is - although I'll admit I've googled it twice and I can now write queries and create fancy excel graphs to my hearts delight. 

I've mastered the "Yes, I can", agreeing to take on tasks I sometimes have to ask the hubby to define but I've come out with a pretty sweet skill set.

And for those times I struggle to keep up with the alien financial language of my manager, I'll go to my happy place and dream of my next project, but it will involve things I know and love like Ali Edwards, My Mind's Eye and glue dots - every good daydream has a glue dot!....and sometimes a tall-dark-and-handsome applying a glue dot to My Mind's Eye paper while scraplifting an Ali layout....oh yes.
