It's mommy-and-daddy-living-room-after-the-kids-go-to-bed-action/thriller-movie-date-night. Yay! I love at-home movie nights. They are so few and far between these days but we still celebrate them in their grandeur with sinful treats, lots of blankets and no worry about the PG rating.
So here I sit, 9:00 Friday night, hiding at the computer in the corner of the kitchen waiting for Beebs to go to bed. I'm not really hiding as much as I'm hiding a piece of delish Safeway double chocolate cake. I love my children, I really do, I'd lay my life down for theirs, however, this cake is sitting pretty just waiting for ME to devour every last calorific-sugary-fat filled morsel, not meant to be shared with the little virus pit. Surely, sharing during the peak of cold and flu season would not be wise!
I can't wait.....
i checked the box beside "things that make you go hmmm" but i wanted it to say "things that make you go mmmm".
