It's been two and a half years since I last created a post. The idea of blogging always danced here and there in my mind but I wasn't sure if I was ready to see my thoughts in print, not to mention I had some little people that were much more rewarding to spend time with over the computer.

My last post on my "skcn" blog from April '07 was a heartfelt one. It was a handful of the toughest weeks I've ever endured. The Lord called for our Littlest Angel, He would also soon take our beloved Nico and people close to us, some even family, were subtle in their strategy but powerful in their wicked ways. We uprooted our family of three and moved onto greener pastures, as the story goes.

Today, we are a family of five. Two rambunctious boys, one dog who thinks he's human and us, ten years of me and my guy. We are abundantly blessed....our family, our friends, our home, our love. Although grateful for more than one person could imagine, more often than not there are days when my head aches from the sound of my own voice, "Caleb pahleeeze stop jumping on Murphy", "Noah stop hitting your brother", "Murphy get off the flippin couch already!". It's complete and utter chaos and it's the kind of day that would make your head spin but I wouldn't pass it up for anything.

I truly believe that my little people are MIGHTY ACORNS. God has big plans for them and each day come heck or high water I will provide them with ooey-gooey love, support, respect and laughter - lots of belly-aching laughter.

Man, it sure feels good to be back!
